Have you ever wondered what to do with the negatives from your dies? To be honest, unless it's a big enough piece of paper, I usually throw it way. The card I made for this challenge is something I kind of saw in my head and now I know to save some of these negatives for masks and or stencils. This is an A2 card and it took me about 5 minutes to make it. Sometimes simple is the best way to go. I only used 1 color on this card including the base- Blackberry Bliss. Using the negative of a frame die I shaded it from top to bottom (dark to light). I then added the Fairy Thistles and one of the Woodland Hares. This is going to be a great note card and I will probably make this one in a few colors. Please be sure to join us at Lavinia World- We want to see what you come up with.

Are you ready for Valentines Day? It's just 2 weeks away! My teammates make the most amazing cards with dies, but I'm more simple with mine and this one is no different. I made A2 cards and just layered the mats and carefully glued down the die cute image. Super simple and no time at all. These turned out more masculine than I had planned, but they will work perfectly for the guys in my life. Here's the link to the die: Cheapo Dies Stacked Love BIG NEWS!! We are getting closer and closer to Valentine's Day and I'm slowing getting my cards made, but these cute Stitched Heart Dies from Poppy Stamps are really doing all the work for me. I used a background I had originally made for something else because it had pink and found a bright pink card stock to pair it up and now I just need to add my sentiments. Don't forget to SAVE the cute cute out dies for another project. Here's an example of how I used the positive part of the die cut. Here's the link to the die: Poppy Stamps- Splendid Stitched Hearts.
